Bath Essentials- 3 Types of Soap

I have customers who frequently ask me the difference between the 3 types of soap that I sell so here it is!

Glycerin Soap
Lemon Pucker Soap

Although glycerin is a fat by-product of soap production that is removed to be used in skin creams or other cleaning items, it is also used to make glycerin soap. These bars are translucent (meaning you can see through them) and come in a variety of colors and fragrances.

Glycerin soap helps the skin absorb the moisture in the air, causing it to stay softer.

People with sensitive skin find that glycerin is gentle on their complexion.

This soap quickly dissolves in water, making it easy to wash off. It doesn't leave behind a film like heavier soaps do.

Those who suffer from such skin disorders, such as eczema and psoriasis, can help relieve symptoms by washing with glycerin.

Because it's gentle on the skin, glycerin soap can be used by people of all ages.

Shea Butter Soap
Lavender and Oats Shea Butter Gentle Exfoliating Soap for Sensitive Skin and Eczema

Shea butter is extracted from the nut of West Africa's wild karite tree. Its high content of essential fatty acids and natural anti-oxidant compounds provide extreme moisturizing capabilities as well as cellular restoration.

Shea butter has proven successful in the treatment of various skin ailments including eczema and psoriasis and in some cases rosacia.

Shea butter helps to restore elasticity to the skin.

Shea Butter helps to heal cuts and burns without scarring.

Shea Butter helps to minimize stretch marks.

Shea butter has natural sun protection qualities for your skin and hair (although it should not be used in place of sunscreen.)

Shea butter works wonderfully on razor bumps and rashes.

It's an intensive general moisturizer, ideal for dry, cracking skin. It is especially good for those extra dry spots: elbows, heels, knees and cuticle beds.

Goat's Milk Soap
Pink Sugar Goats Milk Soap

Goat milk contains lots of nutrients like fats, proteins and other hormones that naturally benefit the skin. The benefits of goat milk soap can be felt by people suffering from various skin conditions or those just wanting to maintain youthful, rejuvenated skin.

Goat milk soap has a pH level similar to human skin; therefore, goat milk soap benefits the skin by protecting skin from daily bacterial and chemical invasions.

The moisturizing benefits of goat milk soap surpass that of commercial soap because of the natural creams in goat's milk.

Handmade goat milk soap benefits people with sensitive skin because it doesn't contain additives like alcohol, petroleum and preservatives. This reduces the risk of skin irritation and allergic reactions.
